Canopus Gongs are made in Wuhan, China. The feedback we have received from most Gong players concerns mallet play, lack of clear first attack, a delay in the sounding, and lack of balance between volume and sounding of the gong. Our research led us to develop a different thickness of Gong, depending on its size. With this development, we embodied the musical need of players.
