We used 1mm thick brass shells. combined with our brass-tube lugs to minimize the contact with the shell for our original brass snare drum. It has a tight. warm sound. You can expect both beautiful high resonance and a fat. low sound. Our standard original vintage snare wire is perfect for the delicate expression of our brass shell.
