I studied Jazz Drums at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and Graduated in 2007 with a Master Degree (focus on brazilian music).
So far I have worked with artists like Frank McComb, Postman, N'Dambi, Giovanca and Benny Sings amongst others, covering a wide range of genres, from Soul, Gospel & R&B to Reggae, from Pop music to Rock.
At the moment I'm touring & recording with Dutch Soul Singer Giovanca and the Brazil-Pop-Jazz Group Banda Sensuál.

Canopus Drums are the best drums I've ever played!! Since I play in very diverse bands, I use very different tunings/skins, but the drums sounded great in every setting. They sounded great in small Jazzclubs playing really soft and they also sounded great on big pop festival stages, where I really had to hit the drums hard. I was able get any drum sound I wanted out my Canopus Set. And they look nice, too......Keep up the great work!! |
