Johnny has been playing professionally for 24 years. He has toured throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. In the early 90s, Johnny studied the Moeller Method with Jim Chapin and has been teaching it along with drum set ergonomics since that time. Specializing in blues, 60s and 70s era rock and soul, he has been living and working in Nashville, TN for the last 14 years.
Johnny also endorses Sabian cymbals and Aquarian drumheads. |

The RFM series fits the bill for me. The toms have a perfect blend of singing tone and punchy depth. The combination of 8 lugs and die cast hoops make “The Steel” and “The Maple” snare drums excellent counterparts. The 22” bass drum has a solid, fundamental tone – I love it! |
