I have been playing drums and percussion since I was eleven years old.
I studied drums and tuned percussion initially before focusing mainly on kit drums.
Having toured with many well known artists including Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), The Pouges, Bagatelle and numerous other studio musicians including bassist Dave Swift (Jools Holland) Gary Sanford (Joe Jackson). Daniel is currently in demand as a teacher and clinician working on various studio projects including a new album with legendary blues harpist Don Baker with an American and European tour scheduled for the last part of 2010. |

I first was introduced to Canopus drums by a student who had studied at the New York Collective. I immediately went about trying to get a working relationship with the Canopus Company.
The drums are the warmest and most tonal drums I have ever played, being responsive in every style of music. The Zelkova is the best sounding snare drum in the studio ever produced without a doubt.
