Japanese Sword (Yaiba) Drum Kit

Since Canopus’ inception, we have adopted solid brass tube lugs for efficient vibration transfer. The process of cutting the solid tube lug is not very efficient, however, which raises cost for production. As we have developed new products, the sonic properties and overtones associated with die-cast lugs have been explored, and we have designed a new lug that we are very proud of.
Our new die-cast lug with its “Japanese Sword” design recalls the heritage of the drum’s origin, reminding our customers of the Canopus construction while still providing the same quality standards we demand.

As a result, we are able to provide the top quality and sound for all players at a price comparable to mid-range products of other manufacturers. The sound is distinct from the brass tube lug series and opens up new possibilities for Canopus’ drum sound.
