While there are many steel snare drums that often have an uncontrollable sound, Canopus has given steel a new character. With tube lugs of solid brass, our Steel Snare Drum is well blended, while retaining the sharp sound that is not overshadowed by the mid-range tones of string and keyboard instruments in an ensemble. That is the characteristic of our Steel Snare Drum. The distinct sharp sound of our steel drum gives no impression of cheapness and coldness.
For those who prefer a more open sound, we recommend pressed hoops.
