Solid Soft Maple has a mellow sound compared to multiple ply shells. However, high frequencies made by materials that have undergone forced drying may sound somewhat disagreeable to the ear. This Solid Soft Maple snare creates a vintage sound beyond time and space. It is marvelous material with incomparable softness and is reminiscent of a pleasant, soft feeling or nostalgic sensation.
